General Case Type Details
Before you can create the structure of a case through statues, transitions and forms some General
case details must be set up. Once these details are set up the other options within a case type are enabled.
Every workflow/case will have a case reference
. This is a three character prepend to the incremental case number. This prepend is a unique combination for each case type.
At case type level you can determine whether cases should be visible to the customer (via a MyAccount solution) and you can also limit the number of open cases allowed for a particular case type. This could be useful in a subscription scenario.
