MyAccount pages and organisation widgets
This page describes options for configuring your CMS to provide a more tailored experience to business account users.
My Business Account Homepage
You may wish to create a 'business account' homepage that provides relevant content, links and cases to users with a linked business account. This can achieved simply by creating a homepage and optionally adding some of the widgets described below.
In addition, you can optionally add the URL for this homepage to the Organisation account homepage
field found by going to Settings
> Integrations
> CXM
. Adding the URL here does two things:
- When a user registers by going to /register/organisations the user will be directed to the business account homepage
- When the user next signs in they will be taken to the business account homepage if that was the last account page they visited (as opposed to the 'My Account' page)
Widgets
There are two widgets offering functionality relating to business accounts that will need to be patched to your environment on request through Jadu Support. These widgets can be used on any Jadu homepage and are described below.
Organisation account links widget
This widget assumes that you have a my business account homepage which is not a mandatory requirement for using business accounts. This widget has 3 states described below.
Does not appear if the user is not signed in
Shows a link to Register for a business account to signed in users with a personal account wanting to add an organisation
Shows a link to View my business account to users signed in and with a linked business account
Organisation account widget
This widget has 4 states described below.
Does not appear if the user is not signed in
Shows a link to Register for a business account to signed in users with a personal account wanting to add an organisation
Shows links to manage users to a user who is signed in and has a linked business account with admin privileges.
Shows Pending request to a user who is signed in and has requested to join a business account and is waiting for approval from an admin user
CXM Cases Widget
It is possible to show the signed in user a list of their CXM cases linked to their business account only. To do this add the ‘My Account - CXM cases’ widget to the relevant page and create a corresponding filter in CXM.
The cases returned in this widget are displayed based on a specific CXM ‘filter’. This filter should be created in CXM using the ‘My Organisation’ filter set as shown below. The reference value of the filter should then be added to the widget details. The name can be found in the URL when the filter is clicked on. In this example the filter is called ‘My Organisation’ and the value is my-organisation
.
