Inviting a user to set up an account
If you want to invite the customer to register for an online account you can do this from within the Person Record.
First select Link Account from the Actions menu on the Person Record screen.
You can then Search to see if a customer account has already been registered using the email address.
If no account is found simply click Invite to send an email to the customer inviting them to register for an online account.
Note: You can still raise cases against a Person Record even where a customer account does not exist.
If a customer account already exists you will not be able to link the new Person Record or invite the customer to create an account. In such cases you should refer to your Administrator for assistance if needed.
